Where is young jeezy now

He is referring to the rash of young rappers recently killed over rap beefs. He was only I just think at the end of the day, I am not here to preach Kumbaya.

He knows about what he preaches. He has had a long standing beef with fellow artist and onetime collaborator Gucci Mane that has led to bloodshed and even death. But they are now scheduled to be in the same room and settle things with their music.

They are facing off on the rap battle show Verzuz , which was started by Timbaland and Swizz Beatz. He will be able to mentor some of these young up and comers, who need nurturing. He is a hustler who became an MC, not the other way around. A month before his 36th birthday, Young Jeezy has decided to drop the Young. The Atlanta rapper has announced that, for the first time, he will style himself plain old Jeezy on his forthcoming fifth studio LP. Jeezy revealed the change during a recent appearance on MTV's RapFix Live , correcting the presenter who introduced him.

I did enough of that. Jeezy's first indie album came out about 12 years ago, under the alias Lil J. In the period following, there was indifference and mild pettiness until things became more serious. Upon realizing that his life was at risk, Gucci shot back, killing one of the men as the others ran off. Jeezy has always denied having any involvement in the home invasion, but dealings have been sticky between the two rappers ever since, filled with distrust and bad blood.

He brings up the fact that he still has all of his chains, alluding to the failed robbery by Jeezy's associate Pookie Loc and others. This has been the cycle for 15 years. But if fans have their way, that could end tonight and open up a positive new chapter.
